  26.           only if a value has changed. See the description in the

  30.           This routine uses the ANSI C variable-length argument list
  31.           (varargs) calling convention. The variable-length argument
  32.           list consists of groups of arguments each of which contains
  33.           an attribute followed by the value of the attribute. The
  34.           last argument in the list must be NULL.

  36.           Note that the List and TextField widgets call the
  37.           XXXXmmmmIIIImmmmVVVVaaaaSSSSeeeettttVVVVaaaalllluuuueeeessss function internally. Therefore, further
